Bank of Baroda (BoB), one of India’s leading Public Sector Banks, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to various IT professional posts in its Information Technology Department. The recruitment is being conducted for Specialist Officer positions at different levels to strengthen the bank’s digital, technology, and cybersecurity operations. Post-wise Vacancies (Major IT Posts):

Officer (JMG/S-I) – IT / Specialist Officer

Manager (MMG/S-II) – IT / Specialist Officer

Senior Manager (MMG/S-III) – IT / Specialist Officer

Specializations include:

Cloud Engineer, AI / GenAI / Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Full Stack Developer (Java / MERN), API Developer, Finacle Developer, Mobile Application Developer, Network Administrator, Server Administrator (Linux/Unix), Database Administrator, Cyber Security Specialist, and other advanced IT roles.

Job Location:

Posting may be anywhere in India, depending on the bank’s requirements.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a full-time B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related disciplines from a recognized university or institute. Additional professional certifications and relevant domain knowledge are desirable for specialized roles.

Age Limit (as on prescribed date):

Officer (JMG/S-I): 22 to 32 years

Manager (MMG/S-II): 24 to 34 years

Senior Manager (MMG/S-III): 27 to 37 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Experience Requirement:

Relevant post-qualification IT work experience is mandatory.

Officer level: Minimum 1 year

Manager level: Minimum 3 years

Senior Manager level: Minimum 5 years

(Exact experience requirements may vary by post and specialization.)

Pay Scale / Salary:

Selected candidates will be appointed under the Specialist Officer cadre and will receive salary as per Bank of Baroda norms, along with DA, HRA, CCA, medical benefits, leave benefits, and other allowances applicable to officers of the bank.

Shortlisting of applications

Online Test (if conducted)

Psychometric Test or any other assessment

Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview
